We built Bindle to replace a geriatric email, spreadsheet, and carrier pigeon-based licensing system1 at work. It was a little side project that we could have fun with. Little by little we realized that our little side project was much better than anything we were working on.

– Users can edit their time off requests after submission, with additional approval required if the request has already been approved, and approvers can override their decisions at any time, with users notified if this happens.
– A read-only version of approved bookings can be viewed in Microsoft Outlook, Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or other programs that support the iCalendar format.
– Bindle includes basic holiday calendars for each user, weekends are not considered business days, and users can create their own calendars to accommodate different holiday arrangements.
– Managers can add additional days to leave balances if needed, such as when working an extra day on the weekend.
