What is Bontq ?
Bontq is a web-based bug and issue tracking system. It allows you to manage projects and track bugs very easily thanks to its clean and user-friendly interface. The essential part of Bontq is its desktop client. Using the functionality of the Desktop Client, you can capture screenshots, record videos and attach them directly to your items.
Headquartered in San Mateo, California, BontQ develops software to manage the development of software projects. BontQ’s eponymous flagship software is an application for businesses that need collaborative bug tracking tools and is entirely cloud-based with a software-as-a-service (Saas) delivery model. The software was launched in 2009, fully funded by the company’s founders as a demonstration of their belief and commitment to their software development project management and bug tracking solution. Andy Zwerdling, the company’s co-founder and spokesperson, explained that the software and the company were inspired by his and the other founders’ dissatisfaction with the bug tracking and project management solutions they had previously used. At Zwerdling’s urging, the BontQ startup came about and the BontQ project and bug management software was created.
