What is ICANotes ?
ICANotes is the only fully configured EHR for behavioral health and addiction treatment. ICANotes is the most clinically robust EHR for behavioral health, with preconfigured templates for all disciplines and settings. A PMS can increase the efficiency of your practice and the safety of your clients. You can also reduce the amount of paperwork you deal with thanks to electronic insurance claims and a robust mapping system. A PMS can handle your payment processing and other billing procedures. You can set up notifications to alert you when patients have outstanding balances and keep detailed records of customer billing.
ICANotes was founded 15 years ago by a clinical psychiatrist looking for an efficient electronic health record system for the behavioral field. The platform has evolved from its original design and now covers many different areas within practice management, including billing, e-prescribing, and office scheduling. ICANotes helps professionals by providing an intuitive platform that requires a minimal amount of typing during an appointment to allow for maximum patient interaction. The patient records that are created are automatically coded to the highest appropriate level to allow for maximum reimbursement. Charts can be customized or launched from a pre-built template. Each chart and template is organized with tips from clinical professionals, making the workflow intuitive and natural for the behavioral field. Customizable template buttons allow the user to automatically fill in clinically appropriate words or phrases to limit the amount of typing needed during an exam. Coding in the program is based on buttons and actions performed on a graphic, and a user can always view the coding page to see in real time exactly what is credited throughout the exam. Once the table is complete, ICANotes automatically determines the highest appropriate billing code.
