What is DataGalaxy ?
Datagalaxy is an innovative start-up, founded by a team of data enthusiasts and new uses of the web. We take advantage of the potential of the latest technologies and new working methods to offer our users an agile, powerful and ergonomic platform dedicated to data mapping. Our goal is to revolutionize the management and access to data in companies. The DataGalaxy solution has been very well received by the market and the companies that have tested it from the summer of 2016 to February 2017 when the first version was released on the market. This trial period, particularly with a historical player in energy distribution, allowed us to make rapid progress and precisely respond to the companies’ expectations, says Lazhar. This was a real development factor also on a commercial level because we signed our first contract with a national insurer less than a month after our official launch. DataGalaxy obtained Young Innovative Company status in January 2016, as well as €200,000 in funding from the BIS, which was added to its own funds by the same amount. At the end of May, DataGalaxy raised €200,000 to speed up its development, notably by hiring 2 developers and a web marketing specialist which will increase its headcount to around ten people.
